Every year, Dorigo Systems offers up internships for students to apply in practice what they’ve learned in their academic programs. Not only do they have a chance to develop their technical skills relevant to their study program, but also soft skills, such as professional networking.
We embrace the fresh perspective offered by the new group of interns each year who bring insight into engineering through the theories, principles, best practices and the latest technology they’ve been taught in their academic programs.
At Dorigo Systems, internships are a win-win. Interns are able to apply their knowledge and provide support to senior team members. Our team, in turn, gets to mentor and coach interns to be the best at what they want to achieve.
Promoting a learning culture is a core commitment that we take very seriously at Dorigo Systems. We want to ensure we are continually improving our processes in electronics manufacturing. By staying up-to-date with latest industry advances being taught at universities, we remain at the forefront for manufacturing the most innovative products for our clients.
We offer up a big thank you to this year’s inspiring interns and much success in their studies:
- Joshua Acosta – UBC Electrical Engineering
- Makoto Iwaasa – BCIT Electrical Engineering
- Mitchell Moir – SFU Mechatronics System Engineering
- Hamza Qayyum – UBC Electrical Engineering
