We currently have a requirement for a full-time Quality Coordinator to join manufacturing operations at our facility in Burnaby BC. Reporting to our Quality Assurance Manager, the successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring product quality meets our customers' high standards.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Quality Management System (QMS) document control including, but not limited to, filing both hard and electronic copy records, routing documents for review and approval, posting, printing, copying and archiving documents
  • Review existing QA processes and implements improvements based on industry best practices
  • Generate QA alerts and communicate them to employees and/or customers
  • Prepare documentation for regular QA communication meetings
  • Conduct regular QA meetings with cross-functional team members
  • Carry out QA audits and spot check to ensure processes are being followed
  • Manage supplier corrective action process to improve supplier quality
  • Gather and compile QA data and update KPI information
  • Support Quality Training program
  • Work on other various duties and projects as assigned by department manager.

Job Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical or industrial engineering
  • Minimum of one year experience in a similar role, with exposure an EMS environment a strong asset
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001, SPC, ERP, IPC-610 and other related standards.
  • Analytical, detail-oriented and well-organized
  • Excellent verbal communication and technical writing skills.
