Dorigo Systems currently has a requirement for a permanent, full-time Customer Project Coordinator to join our growing EMS manufacturing company. The successful candidate will act as a liaison between the customer and all levels of the manufacturing process to ensure on-time delivery of customer orders.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Receive customer purchase orders from Business Development group, or directly from customer, and begin process to generate Sales Orders and create Work Orders using Expandable software.
  • Act as focal point and liaison to customer for all scheduling and order delivery issues.
  • Update information as required in Expandable and SharePoint.
  • Communicate between the stock room and the customer to resolve part shortages and discrepancies.
  • Coordinate between Purchasing and suppliers to ensure that all required raw materials arrive in a timely fashion to allow for on time delivery of finished assemblies.
  • Monitor assembly/build progress and provide customer support from point-of-order through to final delivery.
  • Assign priorities to Process Engineers based on customer requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to insure the success of projects, individuals, and the company.

  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational and verbal/written communication skills.
  • Should possess a strong work ethic, be self directed, determined, customer/team-oriented, energetic and enthusiastic.
  • Must have ability to multi-task, judge priorities and handle a variety of duties/assignments at once, while maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Need computer proficiency, particularly with Microsoft Office suite of tools (Excel, Word, Outlook, SharePoint, etc).
  • High school graduate and preferably 1-2 years post secondary education or comparable experience.
  • Related experience within an electronics manufacturing environment is an asset.
  • Exposure to computerized inventory control and production scheduling and experience within an ISO9001:2008 environment is a definite asset.
  • Working knowledge of Expandable ERP software (www.expandable.com) or similar products is helpful.
  • Working knowledge of SharePoint is helpful.
